• The record does not include data or analysis supporting the appellant's allegation.
• Requirements included in the Decision Document reasonably mitigate impacts on wildlife
and provide adequate wildlife corridors and open space.
• The record contains adequate support for the Responsible Official's decision.
• Information and analysis contained in the EIS indicate that the size, location, and
vegetation of the required wildlife corridors are sufficient for wildlife habitat and
movement (see DEIS App. E - Plants, Animals &Wetlands, pp E-42 through E-44).
Decision:
Deny the appeal and affirm the mitigation requirements for wildlife corridors as set forth by the
Responsible Official in the Decision Document (Subarea 2b(3)Wildlife Corridors,Item i through iv,pp 27-28 of Staff
Report).
SECTION 6: WETLANDS AND WILDLIFE HABITAT
Findings:
• Wetland B is a palustrine forested wetland covering 1.84 acres. This wetland is
dominated by Pacific Willow and has been rated a Category II wetland according to Title
37.090 EMC.
• Wetland C is a palustrine forested wetland covering .55 acres. This wetland is
dominated by Pacific Willow and has been rated a Category II wetland according to Title
37.090 EMC.
• Wetland E is a palustrine forested wetland covering .03 acres.
