Perform hydraulic modeling analysis to determine/verify proposed pipe sizes. <br /> Assumes one meeting with City to discuss model parameters, fire flow <br /> requirements, etc. and up to three visits to City to perform modeling using City's <br /> model and computer station. One additional meeting is included to discuss the <br /> findings of the modeling effort. <br /> 4. Prepare pre-design memo including identification of required easements, if any, <br /> summary of modeling results and recommended pipe sizes and alignments, <br /> summary of cost projections (see following subtask), preliminary construction <br /> schedule, and exhibits for WSDOT franchise application north of Cascade View <br /> and east of 3rd Street SE. <br /> 5. Prepare 30% Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC) for inclusion in pre- <br /> design memo. <br /> 6. Prepare 30% Design Drawings. These drawings will include the complete base <br /> map, proposed horizontal alignments, and plan sheets only (estimated at 21 <br /> sheets). A profile will be included with one drawing for review. <br /> 7. Internal QA/QC <br /> 8. Prepare preliminary design submittal for City. <br /> 9. Attend 30% design review meeting with City. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Six hard-copies of preliminary Drawings (11" x 17" size) <br /> • Electronic base map and CAD files, in AutoCAD 2010 format and conforming <br /> to City CAD standards <br /> • Design memo (memo in pdf format, in addition to all files in their original <br /> source programs —Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, etc.). <br /> F. 60% Design <br /> 1. Prepare 60% Design Drawings, incorporating City review comments from 30% <br /> Design stage. Provide complete set including cover sheet, sheet index, plans <br /> and profiles, and details (estimated at 27 sheets). <br /> 2. Coordinate with utility providers; send copies to impacted utility companies for <br /> review and comment. Maintain correspondence records. <br /> 3. Prepare 60% Specifications, including a draft bid advertisement and Divisions 1 <br /> through 9, including Bid Item descriptions. Format per City-provided 2010 <br /> Standard Specifications. <br /> 4. Prepare 60% Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC), updated from <br /> • <br /> previous submittal. <br /> 31 <br />
