3 <br /> City of Everett Exhibit A—Scope of Work <br /> Water Main Replacement K November 12, 2010 <br /> UP No. 3443 Page 8 of 9 <br /> • City to provide record drawings for City water, sewer, and storm drains within the project <br /> area. <br /> • City to provide sample plans and specifications (hard copy) from a recent water project <br /> for reference. <br /> • City to provide electronic CAD files of necessary City standard drawings for the project. <br /> • City will take lead role on obtaining permits, coordination with WSDOT and the SEPA <br /> checklist. <br /> • The City will be responsible for reproducing bid documents from the original copy <br /> provided to the City by Roth Hill <br /> • City to take lead on construction administration and provide construction inspection <br /> services. <br /> • City to maintain field redlines documenting construction progress and variations from the <br /> design drawings, to be provided to Roth Hill for preparation of Construction Record <br /> Drawings. <br /> IV. Items Not Included in This Scope of Services: <br /> The following services are not included in this Scope of Services. If, during the course of the <br /> project, the need for any of these services is identified, an adjustment to this Scope of Services <br /> will be needed. <br /> • Environmental assessment and studies (wetlands, wildlife, and soil analyses except <br /> as provided for in the geotechnical engineering evaluation). <br /> • Laboratory testing of contaminated soils. <br /> • Potholing of any existing underground utilities. <br /> • Additional design meetings or submittals beyond what is specified. <br /> • Permit research and preparation of applications, SEPA checklist preparation, and <br /> other permit and agency-related reviews and approvals, other than providing figures, <br /> calculations, and supporting documentation for the SEPA checklist and WSDOT <br /> franchise/utility permits as described herein. <br /> • Public involvement, other than assistance for and attendance of the neighborhood <br /> meeting <br /> • Easement preparation, negotiation, and acquisition. <br /> • Pre-construction support services including bid review and bid tabulation, reference <br /> check on apparent low bidder, and contract award recommendation to City. <br /> 35 <br />
