Project Coordination-This task is for general coordination of the Utility Design work.
This includes coordination of the MSA team with TranTech's Project Manager including
meetings, correspondence and communication.
2. Project Meetings - Coordinate and participate in an initial kick-off meeting with
TranTech and City of Everett staff and attend project coordination meetings as necessary.
It is anticipated that MSA's project manager and staff engineer will attend up to four(4)
meetings with TranTech.
3. Invoicing- Prepare monthly billings and progress reports describing services provided
and completed in each billing-period. Prepare, monitor--and update MSA's-project---
schedule.
B. Preliminary Design Package
This task will develop plans and specifications for the preliminary design(30% level of PS&E
design package)for the proposed water main and utility improvements. Plans will be provided
in electronic format to TranTech to be included in the project submittals. Drawings will be
provided per City Standards in AutoCAD format. Surveying and basemapping shall be
performed by others in accordance with the agreement between TranTech and the City. MSA
will acquire and incorporate basemapping into the contract drawings as necessary. The work
under this task includes the following subtasks:
1. Information Gathering and Review- Compile a list of data and information needed for
the project. Review information from the City relevant to the proposed work. This
information will include existing asbuilts, service and inspection records, geotechnical
reports regarding the subsurface soil condition information, other available plans and
specifications for improvements in the existing right-of-way by other utilities, and all
other relevant information.
2.
