2
Work Change Directive WCD-15^' Revise the layout of the AC-2 pile wall to avoid conflict with
submerged obstructions.
Increase the Contract Amount by$5,661.00 and add 1 calendar day to Milestone 2 and the Final
Completion.
JUSTIFICATION:
Work Change Directive WCD-01^' Use existing conductors and bus gutters.
Work Change Directive WCD-02^' Use existing conductors and conduit.
Work Change Directive WCD-03 ^'Avoid conflict with future slip-lining of 54-inch pipe between AC-2
and the oxidation pond.
Work Change Directive WCD-04^' Provide a more stable subgrade for the monorail.
Work Change Directive WCD-05"' Pipe layout was revised to avoid conflicts with other utilities and to
provide uphill slope between the Fan Building and the Headworks. Coatings were changed due to the
harsh environment in the sump.
Work Change Directive WCD-06"'Avoid running cable for one aerator under another aerator and
having the cable sucked into the second aerator.
Work Change Directive WCD-07 ^' Monorail concrete foundation supports were raised by one foot
during construction to avoid high ground water. The new elevation placed part of three of the four
foundations above the surrounding slope protection.
Work Change Directive WCD-08"'WPCF standard.
Work Change Directive WCD-09^'Avoid conflict with buried conduits.
Work Change Directive WCD-10— Completion of Milestone 1 was affected by equipment delivered to
site that was not in accordance with the project specifications or the approved submittal. The
equipment had to be re-fabricated which was a long lead item. In the interim period of time the City
of Everett and McClure and Sons were able to use existing equipment to allow operation of the
aerators.
Work Change Directive WCD-11 — Unused electrical junction boxes conflict with new installations.
The cables in AC-1 could be sucked into the new aerators.
Work Change Directive WCD-12^' By Contract the Owner does not charge the Contractor for the
Electrical Permit.
Work Change Directive WCD-13 ^'The intent of the change is to have the elevation of the top of the
pile closer to the elevation of the slope protection where the two intersect
8
