Three dike breaches were completed in October 2007 <br /> allowing tidal waters to enter the restoration site. Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement <br /> with Jones and Stokes will provide continued monitoring services during the permitting for the restoration <br /> project. The amendment extends the time of completion from January 31, 2011,to March 1, 2012, at no <br /> additional cost to the City. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Jones and <br /> Stokes to extend the date for completion for the Smith Island/Union Slough Restoration Site Monitoring <br /> Services at no additional cost to the City. <br /> 85 <br />
