1 8 INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT �i'�C) <br /> BETWEEN <br /> City of Everett, Washington <br /> AND <br /> Pierce County, Washington <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between the CITY OF EVERETT, <br /> WASHINGTON, hereinafter referred to as "the City" and PIERCE COUNTY, WASHINGTON, <br /> hereinafter referred to as "the County". <br /> IT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS AGREEMENT FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT TO <br /> PROVIDE $10,000 TO PIERCE COUNTY TO FUND A PORTION OF A WORK ORDER TO <br /> SUMMARIZE RECENT LITERATURE ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF STORMWATER <br /> PROGRAMS AND PRACTICES FOR THE STORMWATER WORK GROUP (SWG). THE <br /> SWG PLANS TO USE THIS LITERATURE REVIEW TO HELP SELECT AND DESIGN <br /> STORMWATER EFFECTIVENESS STUDIES IN THE PUGET SOUND REGION. <br /> 1. STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> The Scope of Work set forth in Exhibit "A" is attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br /> 2. DELIVERABLES <br /> For the tasks contained in the attached Scope of Work, Exhibit "A", the County shall provide to <br /> the City the deliverables as described in the attachment. <br /> 3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br /> All rights and obligations of the parties to this Agreement shall be subject to and governed by <br /> the Special Terms and Conditions contained in the text of this agreement. <br /> 4. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE/EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> Subject to its other provisions, the period of performance of this agreement shall commence on <br /> the effective date of this agreement and be completed by September 15, 2011, unless <br /> terminated sooner as provided herein. The effective date of this agreement shall be the date on <br /> which both parties have signed this agreement. <br /> 5. COMPENSATION AND PAYMENT <br /> The City agrees to pay $10,000 (dollars) in a lump sum payment for completion of the project as <br /> identified in Exhibit "A" within 30 days of the effective date of this Agreement. The City will <br /> submit payment to Mr. Dan D. Wrye, Pierce County Public Works and Utilities, 2702 South 42nd <br /> Street, Suite 201, Tacoma, Washington, 98409. <br /> 6. CREDIT AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT <br /> Materials produced under this Agreement will display the City of Everett logo and the following <br /> credit line: "Portions of this project were produced with support from the City of Everett."
