5. Conduct a workshop with Everett staff to review system wide alternatives. Up to three <br /> alternative concepts will be-presented. The objective of the workshop will-be to review the <br /> alternative concepts and explore other concepts: - <br /> 6. Prepare a basin and/or combination of basins memoranda that describe the components of <br /> the alternatives or combination of alternatives, the analysis/modeling parameters, and <br /> quantify the level of service improvement. <br /> 7. Format the memoranda graphics and data to be used in the Task 1300 Basin Plan updates. <br /> 8. Include cost estimates (from Task 1000) in the memoranda. <br /> City Responsibilities • <br /> 1. Provide system knowledge and operational understanding to help the HDR team to develop <br /> and evaluate alternatives. <br /> 2. Answer system questions and provide information that may be necessary to evaluate <br /> alternatives. <br /> 3. Provide additional flow monitoring as is reasonably needed for alternative development and <br /> analysis. <br /> 4. Review and comment on draft alternatives development and alternatives evaluation <br /> memoranda. <br /> 5. Host workshops in City conference rooms. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. An alternative is a combination of options within or between sewer basins that is intended to <br /> achieve a desired LOS. Options consist of specific projects, procedures or policies that can <br /> be implemented to address a specific issue. - <br /> 2. Level of service improvement alternatives will be developed and evaluated for up to 15 of <br /> the 22 sewer basins. <br /> 3. The improvement alternatives will focus on the collection and conveyance systems. <br /> Treatment plant alternatives will be developed and evaluated by others. <br /> 4. One reiteration cycle to reevaluate some of the alternatives for a reduced level of service will <br /> be required for up to ten of the basins and/or combinations of basins. <br /> 5. The system wide alternative development will consider the feasible alternatives presented in <br /> the North Everett Combined Sewer Evaluation (Alternatives 6 and 8) for the 17th Street <br /> Interceptor. <br /> 6. In many cases, improvements indentified in the 2006 plan that have not been completed will <br /> be carried forward in the updated plan. <br /> 7. For the system wide alternative development, the available capacity of conveyance <br /> pipelines and lift stations will be based on the full calculated capacity unless documented <br /> otherwise in the data review and system documentation in Tasks 400 and 500. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. Draft and final Basin and System-wide Alternatives Evaluation memorandum with <br /> descriptions and analysis summary for each basin, combination of basins, and system. <br /> City of Everett Comprehensive Sewer Plan Update q?
