reasonable hours for the conduct of necessary business concerning impounded <br /> animals. <br /> Be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> A. Shelter operations. <br /> 1. The manager shall operate, maintain or provide an adequate facility to <br /> receive and care for any animal delivered to his/her custody for disposition under <br /> provisions of this chapter, which facility shall be accessible to the public during <br /> reasonable hours for the conduct of necessary business concerning impounded <br /> animals. <br /> 2. The shelter will accept animals from outside the city if the city has a <br /> written agreement with the government agency responsible for the geographic <br /> area from which the animal came. The City shall charge such government <br /> agency a per animal fee for handling animals brought to the shelter from its <br /> geographic area. The City shall charge the per animal fee irrespective of <br /> whether the animal was delivered by an employee of the government agency, a <br /> resident of the geographic area from which the animal came, or anyone else. <br /> Section 3. Section 10 of Ordinance No. 1810-91, as amended by Section 8 of <br /> Ordinance No. 2394-99, Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2684-03 and Section 1 of <br /> Ordinance No. 2799-04 (EMC 6.04.100), which reads as follows: <br /> Fee schedule. <br /> A. Annual license fee for dogs or cats shall be as follows: <br /> 1. Sexually reproductive female or male—annual fee, thirty dollars. <br /> 2. Sexually unreproductive female or male—annual fee, ten dollars. <br /> 3. Senior Citizen Rate (Sixty-Five Years or Older). <br /> a. Sexually reproductive female or male—annual fee, thirty <br /> dollars. <br /> b. Sexually unreproductive female or male—annual fee, ten <br /> dollars. <br /> 4. Registered Working Dogs. No fee charged if the dog is registered with <br /> an agency for the purpose of helping the seeing- or hearing-impaired or helping <br /> the physically disabled. <br /> B. Other License Fees. <br /> 32 <br />
