• <br /> is hereby amended to read: <br /> B. If private individual garages are provided in multiple <br /> family developments, there shall be provided an additional <br /> one-half of a parking space for each parking space within a <br /> private garage. Such additional parking space shall be <br /> either completely uncovered or covered by a carport. Single <br /> family attached developments in multiple family zones that <br /> provide two off-street parking spaces per dwelling need not <br /> provide additional off-street parking for parking spaces <br /> located within an enclosed garage, if the dwelling unit for <br /> which the parking is provided is connected to the enclosed <br /> garage and has a door which provides direct access from the <br /> dwelling into the garage. <br /> Section 4: Section 15. 090 of Ordinance 1671-89, as amended by <br /> Ordinance 1729-90 and Ordinance 1849-92, is amended by the addition of <br /> the following: <br /> G. Tandem parking for parking spaces serving the same dwelling <br /> unit may be used if the parking is located within the rear <br /> setback area and gains access from an abutting alley, or <br /> when one of the parking spaces is located within a garage. <br /> Except for developments in which tandem spaces are located <br /> within the rear setback area and gain access from an <br /> abutting alley, not more than 50 percent of parking spaces <br /> within a multiple family development may be placed within a <br /> tandem configuration. <br /> Section 5: Section 39.040 .B of Ordinance 1671-89 , which reads: <br /> B. Other Building Appurtenances. Except as provided in <br /> Paragraph A of this Subsection, no building appurtenance <br /> shall exceed a height of five feet above the maximum height <br /> allowed in the zone for the principal building, unless the <br /> Planning Director determines that the appurtenance must be <br /> above such height for proper operation. <br /> is hereby amended to read: <br /> B.
