7 <br /> m. Final Signing Plans <br /> The design team will prepare final signing sheets to reflect the final signing <br /> conditions when the project is completed. This effort will include an inventory of <br /> • existing signs,upgrading sign messages as necessary,preparation of signing plans, <br /> sign specification sheets, and sign details for non-standard signs. The final signing <br /> plans will include signs for motorists,bicycles, and pedestrians <br /> n. Temporary Traffic Control/Detour Plans <br /> The design team will prepare Temporary Traffic Control/Detour Plans to support the <br /> construction staging. This effort assumes that there will be two stages of <br /> construction shifting traffic east and west to accommodate the bridge construction. <br /> The Traffic control plans will include site specific traffic control devices as well as <br /> signs and striping. <br /> A regional detour plan will be prepared to support short term closures and to be used <br /> as advance warning for regional commuters/drivers. <br /> o. Ped/Bike Signal Plans <br /> The design team will prepare signal plans to support the traffic for a pedestrian/ <br /> bicycle only signal (or full traffic signal)at the intersection of California and <br /> Broadway. The team will prepare a signal plan,notes, schedules,and wiring. <br /> schematics as necessary to cover all generic and site specific details as needed. The <br /> 60% submittal will include pole and, signal head indications and controller equipment <br /> location for review. <br /> p. Temporary Traffic Signal Plans <br /> The design team will prepare temporary traffic signal plans to support the traffic <br /> control plans in the Hewitt Avenue &Broadway Intersection. The team will prepare <br /> a signal plan,notes, schedules, and wiring schematics as necessary to cover all <br /> generic and site specific details as needed. The signal is assumed to be a wood strain <br /> pole. The 60% submittal will include pole and, signal head indications and controller <br /> equipment location for review. <br /> i. Quantity Estimate and Opinion of Cost <br /> The design team will develop a quantity estimate and a resultant opinion of cost based <br /> on major elements quantity calculations. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • one 1 1x17 (half size)plan sets at 60%, 90%arid Final <br /> • one full sized signed original plan set at Final <br /> • Special Provisions at 90%and final supporting the civil infrastructure. <br /> • One copies of the quantity estimate and opinion of cost. <br /> • All calculations (illumination, drainage, etc.) <br /> • Complete AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D electronic drawing files <br /> 48 <br />
