ORCA Cards not on the ORCA Whitelist will not have the <br /> benefits associated with U-PASS. <br /> 2.24 Parties. The University, College and each Participating Agency may each be individually <br /> referred to as "Party" and may be collectively referred to as "Parties." <br /> 2.25 Per Trip Rate. The rate charged for a single transit trip taken by a University or College <br /> U-PASS member on the Participating Agencies' transit service, as set forth in <br /> Attachment 2. Each Agency may have multiple Per Trip Rates, reflecting different <br /> categories of riders, different service categories, and transfer trips vs. non-transfer trips. <br /> Per Trip Rates may change during the duration of this Agreement subject to the <br /> provisions in Section 7.1, 7.4 and 9.6 of this Agreement. <br /> 2.26 Product Block. An ORCA system process that culminates in invalidating an ORCA <br /> Product on an ORCA Card. <br /> 2.27 U-PASS. A"right-to-ride"transit pass instrument that allows each Eligible Student and <br /> each Eligible Faculty or Staff member as defined in Sections 2.10 and 2.11, who <br /> participates in the U-PASS program and pays the required fee, to access the <br /> transportation benefits and products specified in Attachment 2, Products, Pricing and <br /> Terms. The transit fare medium of the U-PASS is a Business Passport Product loaded <br /> on either an ORCA UW Card or a standard ORCA Card. Standard ORCA cards will be <br /> used to provide the U-PASS to temporary Eligible Faculty and Staff until December 31, <br /> 2011. <br /> 3.0 TERM OF AGREEMENT <br /> This Agreement shall take effect October 1, 2011. Unless terminated in accordance with Section <br /> 19, or extended by written agreement of the Parties, this Agreement shall continue in effect until <br /> September 30, 2013.
