12 <br /> Scope of Work <br /> Continued <br /> • Written summaries of verbal directions given. <br /> Task 2—SWCP Protocols Document and Document Templates <br /> 2.1—SWCP Protocols Document <br /> Otak, working with the City, will develop a SWCP Protocols document that builds upon <br /> the procedures and methods developed during the Phase 1 Pilot Basin Plans, but <br /> modified by the feedback and direction from the City. The Protocols will be a standalone <br /> document that provides the guidance for the basin characterization, issue identification, <br /> CIP project development and report documentation for both Phase 2 and Phase 3 <br /> activities. Otak will prepare a draft SWCP Protocols document for City review and <br /> comment. City comments will be provided to Otak as a single set of consolidated City <br /> review comments. All conflicts between comments or unclear comments will be <br /> resolved before the City submits comments to Otak. Otak will incorporate the City's <br /> comments and submit a final Protocols document to the City. <br /> Task 2:Assumptions <br /> • The City will provide a single set of consolidated review comments on the <br /> protocols document draft document <br /> Task 2: Deliverables <br /> • Draft Protocols document <br /> • Final Protocols document <br /> Task 3—Basin Characterization <br /> Otak will complete a characterization of each basin using the following activities: <br /> • A review of available information as collected, reviewed and summarized by the <br /> City. <br /> • Information extracted from the City's GIS database information. <br /> • Interview with City staff during Workshop 1 to discuss basin conditions and <br /> problems. <br /> • A limited field review of the basins through observations from public right-of-way <br /> locations. <br /> • Preliminary hydrologic modeling of the basins to establish flood frequency peak <br /> flows and monthly average flows characteristics for the basins. <br /> Information from these activities will be used as the basis for the characterization and <br /> water flow issue identification for each basin.
