REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br /> General Contractor/Construction Manager Services for <br /> WieDsrrim <br /> Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion-Phase C <br /> C. Late Proposals; Proposals will not be accepted by the City after the date and <br /> time specified. In the event that a Proposal package is delivered after the <br /> proposal submission deadline, the Proposal will not be accepted or <br /> considered. No exception will be granted for delays in delivery of Proposals <br /> due to handling by the U.S. Postal Service, or any other type of delivery <br /> service. <br /> D. Only Hard Copy _Submittals: No oral, FAX, electronic (e.g. e-mail), <br /> telegraphic or telephonic Proposals or subsequent modifications to such <br /> Proposals will be considered except as specified herein. <br /> E. Packaging of Proposals: Submittals and their packaging (boxes or <br /> envelopes) should be completely sealed and clearly marked with the name <br /> and address of the Proposer and should be marked: "City of Everett's <br /> Request for Proposals for General Contractor/Construction Manager <br /> Services for the Water Pollution Control Facility Phase C Expansion <br /> RFP 2012-022" Boxes or packages used to deliver Proposals to the City <br /> shall not weigh more than approximately 25 pounds per box or package. <br /> F. Reviewing Proposals: The City will make such reviews and investigations, as <br /> it considers necessary and appropriate for evaluation of the Proposals. <br /> Approval and award of a Preconstruction Services Contract and GC/CM <br /> Construction Contract will be made pursuant to City policies. <br /> G. Clear and Responsive Proposals: The City has made every effort to include <br /> enough information within this RFP for a firm to prepare a responsive <br /> Proposal. Proposers are encouraged to submit the most comprehensive and <br /> competitive information possible. Proposals that do not respond completely <br /> or sufficiently to the evaluation criteria in this RFP may be rejected as non- <br /> responsive, or will receive correspondingly lower scores for those criteria, <br /> which may result in the Proposal not scoring high enough to be considered <br /> further. Proposers will not be allowed to amend or supplement their Proposal <br /> after the date and time specified in Section 3.0 of this RFP. <br /> H. Withdrawal/Resubmission of Proposal: A Proposal may be withdrawn by <br /> written request of the Proposer prior to the date and time specified in Section <br /> 3.0 of this RFP. A Proposer who withdraws a Proposal may resubmit a <br /> Proposal, so long as the resubmitted Proposal is received by the City prior to <br /> the date and time specified in Section 3.0 of this RFP. <br /> I. Grounds for Summary Rejection.
