REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ] _ General Contractor/Construction Manager Services for Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion-Phase C C. Construction Issues: 1. Self-Perform_Work: Indicate the scope of self-perform work the firm proposes to bid on, and its ability to perform such work. The GC/CM selected for this Project, including any subsidiaries of the GC/CM or joint venture partners may not perform more than 30% of the negotiated MACC`and will be subject to the requirements of RCW 39.10.390. 2. Quality Control: Provide a summary of your firm's approach to developing and implementing quality control plans and programs during construction, addressing, at a minimum, the following: a. Quality assurance and inspections b. Coordination and management of subcontract work to ensure quality of work c. Coordination of commissioning d. Description of quality control organization your firm plans to employ e. Describe the levels and authority of the individuals to be assigned quality control responsibilities on this Project. Describe the role and degree of independence that is proposed for the individual(s) or firm(s) responsible for quality control and how corrections to adverse inspections will be managed. D. Safety Issues: Describe your proposed approach and commitment to ensure the safety of workers and the public on this Project.
