The following was observed: <br /> Upon arrival of the first visit, contractor was currently excavating for sewer line within the building limits. The <br /> contractor recently encountered a pocket of trapped water that began filling the excavation and interfering with the <br /> installation of pipe. Contractor was currently pumping the water from the excavation. At time of second visit, the <br /> contractor had passed the section of trapped water and the conditions improved. The contractor installed 219' of <br /> sewer line today at a 2% slope grade. They bedded the pipe in sand then used the recycled concrete material as fill <br /> above the bedding. Contractor placed approximately 2' of recycled concrete material and bucket tapped the material <br /> in at this time.
