2
Activities:
Client Meetings. The Consultant will prepare for and attend technical coordination meetings
with the City during the final design. The Consultant will prepare for and attend workshops to
review the design progress, receive feedback, and provide responses. The Consultant will
prepare and distribute meeting summaries. Budget for this task is based on two-hour meetings
to discuss design issues and design review comments.
Outside Agencies. Meetings with outside agencies (utilities or regulatory), as requested by the
City, will be covered under Task 1100, Supplemental Services. However, this does not include
meetings with utilities to gather"as-built" information and utility design criteria, which will be
covered under design tasks.
Deliverables:
1. Design Meeting agendas and meeting notes — 1 electronic copy
Task 602—Survey& Mapping Services
This task includes services for surveying and mapping for the Detailed Design. Survey shall be
performed for properties along both sides of all streets from Grand Avenue to Wetmore Avenue,
and between half a block north of 11th Street and half a block south of 17th Street(Mapping
Boundary). Surveying and prepared base mapping for preliminary and final design will be
completed by the Consultant's surveyor, Metron and Associates(Surveyor).
Assumptions:
• The Surveyor will rely on survey monument data provided by the City.
• Right-of-way margins, property parcel lines, and easements will be based on record or
GIS data and will be approximate - not intended to represent a precise boundary or
property survey.
• All survey and mapping will be referenced to the City's horizontal (NAD 83/91)and
vertical (NAVD 88) datums. The mapping will comply with National Map Accuracy
standards for a 1"=20' map scale. Maps will be prepared in AutoCAD 2008 using the City
of Everett layer conventions, symbols, and attributes as defined in the "Surveying and
CAD Standards for the City of Everett".
• At a special coordination meeting (Task 601)the City will furnish detailed information
about their AutoCAD standards for the drawings and base mapping. Unless otherwise
directed by the City, AutoCAD files will be either two- or three-dimensional. Individual
line segments will connect survey points. AutoCAD survey points will include number
identifier, elevation, and description. AutoCAD files will be at a one-to-one scale in
"Model Space".
• The first version of the survey base map will be submitted via paper and electronic
copies to the Consultant and the City for review.
• The City shall field mark the location of waterline distribution mains and services, sewer
forcemain pipes, sewers and storm water pipes within one week of being requested by
July 2012 r6.0 Page 5 of 19 Jacobs Engineering Group
15
