I informed her that I did not want her to just "take a hit"for something <br /> that was not hers and she stated "everything in that motel room is mine". I then moved to my patrol car <br /> and she was searched incident to arrest. I noticed that no longer had the roll of money in her pocket and I <br /> asked about this. She advised she hid the money in the outside chair she was just sitting in. I asked her why she <br /> did this and she stated"cause your going to take it". After securing I went back to the chair and found a <br /> roll of money stashed in the back of the seat. Total amount of money removed from was $707 dollars. It <br /> should be noted that does not work or have any other form of income. <br /> Given that was claiming the room was rented to him, I also asked his permission to search the room. <br /> too said he would allow me to search the room and he too completed an EPD consent to search waiver form <br /> allowing me to search room 112. <br /> Given thatillilhad just exited from room 112 I too asked her permission to search the room. also granted <br /> me permission to search the room and completed an EPD consent to search waiver. <br /> advised that she was not staying in the room, nor had she ever been inside. Permission was not <br /> requested from her. Officer Pountain then transporte'to jail where she was booked for possession of <br /> heroin and possession of methamphetamine. See Officer Pountains report for further details regarding <br /> I requested motel management respond with a master key and they did. =1111.111=stood by the <br /> front of room 112 so that they could observe the search and exercise their rights regarding the search at any time. <br /> A search of the room 112 was then done. Officer Dutson assisted in this search by photographing the scene and <br /> helping with the collection of evidence. <br /> Upon entry into the room I observed that on a table just west of the door was an open black safe. Items observed in <br /> the safe are as follows : 1 golf ball size baggie of suspected methamphetamine, 1 small baggies of suspected <br /> methamphetamine, 1 large bag of marijuana, 1 smaller bag of marijuana, white pills packaged for resale, a digital <br /> scale, 1 syringe, 1 methamphetamine pipe and packaging material. Also in the safe was a clear baggie with brown <br /> residue that had a strong odor of heroin. <br /> The safe and items inside were photographed and collected as evidence. <br /> In a night stand located to the right of the bed more drug paraphernalia was located. In a black back pack located <br /> behind the door I located more drug paraphernalia and more packages of white pills. <br /> All items of evidence were collected and photographed.
