Clarifications and Changes-Assist with issuing clarifications to the construction <br /> contractor and producing design changes if necessary. It is assumed that MSA will <br /> prepare up to 40 requests for information/clarification. <br /> 5. Record Drawings-Prepare record drawings by AutoCAD to indicate changes made <br /> during construction,based on notes and sketches of the construction contractor and <br /> inspector. <br /> 6. Periodic Site Visits—MSA will conduct periodic visits to the site as requested by the <br /> City or as warranted by the progression of work. For the purpose of developing this <br /> scope of work, site visits are anticipated one per week, on average,through the <br /> duration of construction, up to 76 visits on an as needed basis. <br /> 7. Testing &Start-Up—Assist the City with start-up, testing and commissioning of the <br /> facilities. Coordinate with the Contractor and the City for all factory and field testing. <br /> a. Factory Testing—Assist the City in reviewing and witnessing factory tests of <br /> equipment, including pumps and electrical components. <br /> b. Field Testing—Assist the City in witnessing field testing of all equipment and <br /> appurtenances, in all modes of operation. Forms will be provided in the <br /> contract documents to provide a record of all testing results. <br /> 8. Training—Assist the City with scheduling and conducting training on equipment and <br /> systems. Coordinate with the Contractor and the City to develop a training schedule <br /> that will include factory representatives as necessary or as required. <br /> 9. Final Inspection—Assist the City with final inspection of the project with <br /> representatives from the City,MSA's project team and the contractor. Assist the City <br /> in the preparation of a"punch list"of items of work remaining. Coordinate final <br /> inspections and reviews of facilities under jurisdiction of other agencies; Alderwood <br /> Water and Wastewater District, Snohomish County, Snohomish PUD No. 1, etc. <br /> 10. Operation and Maintenance Manuals—Review and provide comments with regards to <br /> the operation and maintenance(O&M)manual prepared by the Contractor. The <br /> manual should include the manufacturers' literature identifying installation, operation, <br /> maintenance,handling, storage, assembly and other pertinent equipment information <br /> for all equipment, systems, subsystems, appliances, materials, finishes and other <br /> material furnished and/or installed on the project. <br /> In addition, MSA will prepare a formal narrative of the overall facility's operations <br /> and provide documentation of the basis of design and its parameters.
