classification, the employee shall be placed at the highest step in the <br /> lower range. <br /> b. An employee demoted as a result of non-disciplinary reversion to a <br /> previous classification shall return to their previous pay status, current <br /> position date and next increment date. <br /> c. An employee demoted as a result of disciplinary actions shall be subject <br /> to placement at an appropriate level. <br /> 4. Lateral Transfer. <br /> An employee who laterally transfers within the same classification to another work <br /> assignment shall remain at the same step with the same current position date and, if <br /> applicable, the same next increment date for the purpose of determining step salary <br /> increase. <br /> 5. Classification Changes Within Same Pay Range. <br /> If an employee's job classification changes but the pay range does not, no salary <br /> change shall occur. Further, the employee shall receive a new current position date. <br /> The current position date shall show the employee's appointment into the new <br /> classification, but his/her next increment date for purposes of determining step salary <br /> increase shall remain unchanged. <br /> Section 3: <br /> A. The longevity schedule for full-time employees based on years of service is as follows: <br /> After completion of 5 years, $ 40.00 per month <br /> After completion of 8 years, $ 65.00 per month <br /> After completion of 12 years, $ 90.00 per month <br /> After completion of 16 years, $115.00 per month <br /> After completion of 20 years, $140.00 per month <br /> After completion of 24 years, $165.00 per month <br /> After completion of 28 years, $190.00 per month <br /> B.
