Please review our responses <br /> (plain text). <br /> 1. Floor plans of the units should be submitted that show the dimensions of the <br /> space. The plans should show the room sizes, locations of doors and windows, <br /> uses of the space as well as the information noted below. Some of the <br /> comments below only pertain when the finishes are removed, the plans should <br /> clearly show areas where the joist or wall cavity spaces are not exposed, <br /> Section 107.1 <br /> We have provided a copy of the original drawings to address dimensioning and <br /> space usage. We have provided a set of plans that identify the units and the <br /> scope of work in each unit. <br /> 2. A detail should be provided that shows the walls separating the dwelling units <br /> from each other and/or the stair enclosure are of minimum one-hour fire- <br /> resistive construction. Section 420.1 <br /> Detail 1/A1.1 addresses 1 hour fire wall and STC 50 requirements. <br /> 3. A detail should be provided that shows the walls separating the dwelling units <br /> from each other and/or the stair enclosure provide a minimum of STC 50. <br /> Section 1207.2 <br /> Detail 1/A1.1 addresses 1 hour fire wall and STC 50 requirements. <br /> 4. A detail should be provided that shows the floors/ceiling separating the <br /> dwelling units from each other are of minimum one-hour fire-resistive <br /> construction. Section 420.3 <br /> Detail 2/A1.1 addresses 1 hour fire and STC 50 requirements for the <br /> floor/ceiling assembly. We used an approximate assembly to arrive at our STC <br /> rating (attached). <br /> 5.
