1 <br /> i5-063(4) HMA on Granular Base <br /> After the Crushed Surfacing Top Course subgrade has been leveled and compacted, HMA CL <br /> I 1/2", PG 64-22 shall be placed to a thickness of one inch greater than the existing asphalt <br /> pavement depth or to a minimum of three inches, whichever is greater. Asphalt shall be <br /> compacted to 92-percent of maximum density as determined by WSDOT Test Method 705. <br /> I, 5-06.3(5) Untreated Roadway Surfaces <br /> Existing crushed rock, gravel, and oil mat streets shall be restored with Crushed Surfacing Top <br /> Course to a compacted depth of four inches within the neat lines of the trench. Crushed <br /> i, surfacing shall be mixed, placed, spread and shaped in accordance with the requirements of <br /> Section 4-04 of the Standard Specifications. <br /> 5-06.3(6) Temporary Pavement Patching <br /> 111 The Contractor shall furnish, place and maintain temporary pavement patching, at locations as <br /> directed by the Engineer, until such time as a permanent patch of permanent paving can be <br /> made. <br /> I Temporary pavement patch shall consist of a two inch thick course of either: cold mix asphalt <br /> (MC 250) or hot mix asphalt (HMA CL 1/2", PG 64-22) as approved by the Engineer, over a <br /> three inch course of Crushed Surfacing Top Course. The crushed surfacing top course shall be <br /> I compacted to 95-percent maximum density as determined by Section 2-03.3(14)D. Asphalt <br /> shall be compacted to 90-percent of maximum density as determined by WSDOT Test Method <br /> 705. <br /> Temporary asphalt patching shall be required where roadway or walk i I needed for vehicular or <br /> I <br /> pedestrian traffic, during the construction period, until permanent pavement and sidewalks can <br /> be constructed. <br /> I In the event that the temporary surface subsides after the initial placement, additional MC 250 <br /> or HMA(as approved by the Engineer) and crushed surfacing shall be applied as necessary to <br /> maintain the surface. <br /> Stockpile of plant mix and crushed surfacing for temporary patching shall be provided on the <br /> I site by the Contractor. <br /> Prior to final restoration of the pavement, the Contractor shall be responsible for removing and <br /> disposing of temporary pavement patching materials. <br /> 5-063(7) Incidental Pavement Patching <br /> Incidental pavement patching shall be done only at the direction of the Engineer for patching <br /> and restoring areas between the back of new sidewalks and adjacent asphalt driveways, paving <br /> I ramps at the ends of sidewalks,and gutters that are adjusted to grade. <br /> Asphalt for incidental pavement patching shall be HMA CL 1/2",PG 64-22. <br /> I 5-06.4 Measurement <br /> Bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be measured as described in <br /> Division B—Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and Section 1-09 MEASUREMENT <br /> AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br /> 5-06.5 Payment <br /> Payment for bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be as described <br /> in Division B — Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and Section 1-09 <br /> MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> HAYES STREET REGULATOR February, 2017 <br /> I AND CSO CONTROLS(SRO1, SRO2,AND SRO3) <br /> WO No—UP3398-31 SP- 154 <br />
