I <br /> DIVISION 6—STRUCTURES <br /> 6-02 CONCRETE STRUCTURES <br /> 6-02.1 Description <br /> Supplement 6-02.1 by adding the following: <br /> This work includes designing, furnishing, and constructing four (4) 4-sided concrete vaults of <br /> varying plan view dimensions and depths with access manholes, interior walls appurtenances, <br /> blockouts, and other components as shown in the Plans. These vaults include SROI Regulator <br /> Structure, SRO2 Regulator Structure,Trunk C Flow Screening Structure, and Lift Station No. 9 <br /> Flow Screening Structure. <br /> [Modified per Addendum ]] <br /> This work also includes the modifications to the existing Siphon Headworks Structure (SHW) <br /> and the construction of the new concrete siphon pipe inspection and flow meter structure. <br /> 6-02.2 Materials <br /> Supplement 6-02.2 by adding the following: <br /> Bar Screen within the Trunk C Flow Screening Structure, shall be Stainless Steel meeting the <br /> requirements of ASTM A240 Type 316L. Bar screen configuration shall be as indicated in the 1 <br /> drawings and contractor shall submit shop drawing prior to manufacturing indicating <br /> orientation,bar spacing, and structure fasteners for approval. a°a =naae°aum 11 <br /> All steel components within the vaults including bolts, nuts, washers, weir and scum plates, <br /> steel shapes, and miscellaneous components and shall be stainless steel. <br /> Stainless steel shall meet the requirements of ASTM A240 Type 316L. <br /> Other steel plates, shapes, and bars shall meet the requirements of ASTM A36 unless specified <br /> otherwise in the Plans or these Special Provisions. <br /> Grout for precast vaults shall meet the requirements of Grout Type 4 per Section 9-20.3(4), <br /> except that grout for shear keys within base or roof slab (if required) shall have a minimum <br /> compressive strength of 10,000 psi. <br /> Bolts,Nuts,and Washers <br /> Bolts, nuts, and washers shall meet the requirements of Section 9-06.5(3) unless specified <br /> otherwise in the Plans or these Special Provisions. <br /> All structural steel and steel fasteners shall be hot-dip galvanized after fabrication in accordance <br /> with ASTM A153 and ASTM A123 unless specified otherwise in the Plans or these Special <br /> Provisions. Stainless steel members need not be hot-dip galvanized. <br /> (April 1,2013) • <br /> Resin Bonded Anchors <br /> The resin bonded anchor system shall include the nut, washer, and threaded anchor rod which is <br /> installed into hardened concrete with a resin bonding material. <br /> Resin bonding material used in overhead and horizontal application shall be specifically <br /> recommended by the resin manufacturer for those applications. <br /> Resin bonding material used in submerged liquid environment shall be specifically <br /> recommended by the resin manufacturer for this application. <br /> The resin bonded anchor system shall conform to the following requirements: <br /> HAYES STREET REGULATOR February,2017 <br /> AND CSO CONTROLS (SRO1, SRO2,AND SRO3) <br /> WO No—UP3398-31 SP—155 <br />
