I 1 6-02.3(29)E LS#9 Structure,for Screening Equipment. I Contractor shall modify existing manhole W02 and construct an adjacent concrete vault to accommodate new mechanical screening equipment. Contractor shall coordinate connections and construction of appurtenance to accommodate the proposed mechanical screening equipment, as recommended by the manufacture I Contractor shall excavate,remove existing manhole cone sections,as necessary, and install new riser sections and top slab to accommodate equipment. Contractor shall install a pre-cast vault I and top slab adjacent to manhole in accordance with the plans and to accommodate the equipment discharge chute. Contractor shall install conduit connection to structure and coordinate with the city for I power/communication. 6-02.4 Measurement Delete all paragraphs of 6-02.4 and substitute the following: I Bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be measured as described in Division B — Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and Section 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications.
