I Adjusting all manhole rings and covers to final grade shall be included in the unit price for this bid item. Also included is installation of field-formed concrete channels and benches inside all manhole bases. Pre-cast or pre-formed channel bases are not acceptable. The cost of pipe materials and installation is included in this bid item. The cost of connection of pipes, except for drop connections, is included in this bid item. Measurement and payment shall be per each manhole installed as measured upon completion. Bid Item 28—CATCH BASIN,TYPE B Bid Item 29—CATCH BASIN,TYPE 2, 48-INCH DIA Specification Section 7-05 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each The unit price bid item for each Catch Basin Inlet shall be full compensation for all labor, material, incidentals, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the work as defined in these Special Provisions and as shown on the Plans. The unit price for each Catch Basin Inlet shall be full pay for furnishing, hauling, and assembling in place the completed installation including all catch basin inlets, drainage grates, pipe connections, special fittings,joint materials and adjustment of inverts to catch basin inlets for the completion of the replacement of storm drainage features impacted by construction activities to the required lines and grades. The cost of removing existing catch basin inlet structure or abandoning is considered incidental to the cost of the new catch basin inlet. Excavation, stockpiling, hauling, dewatering, and backfill is incidental and shall be included in the unit price for this bid item. Adjusting all catch basin inlets to final grade is incidental and shall be included in the unit price for this bid item. The cost of connection of storm drain pipes to the catch basin inlet, except for drop connections, is incidental and shall be included in the unit price for this bid item.
