Included in the lump sum price for this bid item are all costs for removal of existing 30-inch I <br /> pipe; pipe connect through SHW south side wall; furnishing, installing, and maintaining both <br /> northside and Southside temporary HDPE gravity conveyance flow bypass pipes with <br /> manufactured bends (SHW to temporary discharge to manhole CS300 & CS500); temporary <br /> blockade in SHW to divert temporary bypass flow; and concrete-wall repair of 30" SHW <br /> connection (northside); and removal and disposal of flow bypass system (northside) following <br /> completion of the work, all in accordance with the plans and special provision to prevent <br /> wastewater discharge to the environment throughout the duration of constructing new or <br /> rehabilitating existing facility. <br /> No specific unit of measure shall apply to the lump sum item of temporary HDPE gravity pipe I <br /> diversion. <br /> Bid Item 40—TEMPORARY FLOW BYPASS PUMPING , <br /> Specification Section 7-21 <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum <br /> The lump sum bid item for Temporary Bypass Pumping shall be full compensation for materials, <br /> work, labor and equipment necessary to furnish, install, and maintain temporary facilities <br /> necessary to maintain the continual wastewater flow and to prevent wastewater discharge to the <br /> environment throughout the duration of constructing new or rehabilitating existing sanitary <br /> sewer or combined sewer mains, or both, within the Project. <br /> SPECIFICATION DIVISION 8 <br /> Bid Item 41 —TEMPORARY SEDIMENTATION AND EROSION CONTROL i <br /> Specification Section 8-01 <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum I <br /> The lump sum bid item for Temporary Erosion and Sedimentation Control, shall be full <br /> compensation for materials, work, labor and equipment necessary to provide erosion control, <br /> complete and in place throughout the term of the Contract including preparing the Stormwater <br /> Pollution Prevention (SWPP) plan; providing the erosion and sediment control (ECS) lead to <br /> implement and update the TESC plan; and all costs for temporary and permanent erosion control <br /> measures needed to prevent silt from entering the storm drain, trenches or water courses or <br /> surrounding property as required in permits or as necessitated by current field conditions, <br /> climate, weather conditions and the Contractor's activities. <br /> Included in the lump sum price for this bid item are all costs for additional temporary erosion 1 <br /> control measures which may be required to support the Contractor's construction methods, <br /> including but not limited to, settling and filtering of water from dewatering operations, catch <br /> basin inserts, diversion and control of surface runoff into or out of trenches, street cleaning, <br /> including sweeping and washing, straw mulch, protection of delivered or stockpiled backfill <br /> materials, protection of unsuitable or surplus materials and control, care and cleanup of <br /> petroleum products or other construction byproducts. <br /> 111 <br /> Included in the lump sum price for this bid item are all costs for temporary erosion control <br /> measures that may be required at all staging areas, temporary access drive; material and <br /> equipment storage yards and other identifies temporary erosion control sites shown in the plans <br /> or other areas occupied or used by the Contractor. <br /> HAYES STREET REGULATOR February, 2017 <br /> AND CSO CONTROLS (SRO1, SRO2, AND SRO3) <br /> WO No—UP3398-31 SP -38 <br />
