Everett Gospel Mission — Women's Shelter Improvements <br /> The Everett Gospel Mission will use these funds to replace flooring in a building which is <br /> now offices and will be converted into a new shelter building. <br /> Recommended 2010 - 2060 Funds: $30,000.00 <br /> 6. Compass Health — North star Apartments improvements <br /> Located at 3315 Lombard Avenue, this project will include replacement of existing tile <br /> mansards, two flat roofs, all perimeter metal coping and two elevator shafts to prevent <br /> further moisture intrusion into the structure. This funding requires a 50/50 match for <br /> funding from the agency. <br /> Recommended CHIP Rental Rehabilitation Funds: $148,307.00 <br /> 7. CHIP - Community Housing Improvement Program Administration <br /> CHIP provides housing rehabilitation services and loans to residents of Everett. <br /> Rehabilitation services (loan processing, preparation of bid specifications, selection and <br /> monitoring of contractors) are provided to homeowners and landlords whose property is <br /> located within the program boundaries. A variety of loans (conventional, guaranteed, <br /> reduced interest, and deferred payment) are available to homeowners based on income. <br /> Due to accounting changes required by HUD all funding is put into Fund 197 and is used for <br /> administration and rehabilitation projects. <br /> Recommended 2010 CDBG Funds: $364,872.00 <br /> 8. CHIP - Community Housing Improvement Program Rehabilitation Loans <br /> CHIP provides housing rehabilitation services and loans to residents of Everett. These <br /> funds will be used for loans for single family home rehabilitation and will be a part of Fund <br /> 197. <br /> Recommended 2010 CDBG Funds: $115,244.00 <br /> Recommended 2010 HOME Funds: $80,458.00 <br /> 9. Parkview Services - Homeownership <br /> Parkview Services will provide down payment assistance for very low, low, and moderate <br /> income first time home buyers with special needs. <br /> Recommended 2010 HOME Funding: $235,000.00 <br />
