Select women's softball plays on a 240' outfield. • Minimum of one lighted synthetic turf soccer field at least 240' x 360' in size (no overlap with 300' baseball field). Where space is an issue the size of the soccer field may be reduced to 225' x 360'. • Lighted synthetic turf warm up area(s)where possible. • All synthetic turf areas are to be fenced. • Restroom building. • A 12' wide (10' minimum) lighted perimeter loop path that doubles as maintenance vehicle access. • At least one picnic shelter. Existing shelter to be relo- cated or kept at current location if possible. • Maintenance/storage areas. • Signalized crossing of E. Marine View Drive for safe pedestrian connection between park and future Sena- tor Henry M. Jackson Bridge and trails. • Rain gardens. • ADA access to all park program elements. • Preservation and potential enhancement of views by park patrons and neighbors. • . Pedestrian connections to neighborhood. • Summit Avenue is to remain as is. • Existing significant trees to remain where possible. • One alternative shall consider acquisition of property to the north. • Activate and reconfigure the ground slopes at the northwest corner of the site to address the perceived safety issue. ALTERNATIVE CONCEPT PLANS Alternative Concept Plans Three alternative concept plans were developed for Senator Henry M. Jackson Park based upon findings of the inventory and analysis, and the program needs for the park. The plans illustrate the general space requirements and relationships of the proposed park activities, structures, vehicular circulation, parking, and pedestrian pathways. The three concept plans 1, 2 and 3 are described briefly on the following pages. Each of the three master plan alternatives maintains and ex- pands upon existing uses in the park.
