Contracting Agency-assigned number for the project; 10 2. Name of the project; 11 3. The Contracting Agency named as obligee; 12 4. The amount of the bid bond stated either as a dollar figure or as a 13 percentage which represents five percent of the maximum bid amount that 14 could be awarded; 15 5. Signature of the bidder's officer empowered to sign official statements. The 16 signature of the person authorized to submit the bid should agree with the 17 signature on the bond, and the title of the person must accompany the said 18 signature; 19 6. The signature of the surety's officer empowered to sign the bond and the 20 power of attorney. 21 22 If so stated in the Contract Provisions, bidder must use the bond form included 23 in the Contract Provisions. 24 25 If so stated in the Contract Provisions, cash will not be accepted for a bid 26 deposit. 27 28 29 30 1-02.9 Option A.RTF 31 1-02.9 Delivery of Proposal 32 (August 15, 2016 APWA GSP, Option A) 33 34 Delete this section and replace it with the following: 35 36 Each proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, with the Project Name 37 and Project Number as stated in the Call for Bids clearly marked on the outside 38 of the envelope, or as otherwise required in the Bid Documents, to ensure 39 proper handling and delivery. 40 41 42 The Contracting Agency will not open or consider any Bid Proposal that is 43 received after the time specified in the Call for Bids for receipt of Bid Proposals, 44 or received in a location other than that specified in the Call for Bids.
