The respondents allowed junk trash litter, broken furniture salvage materials, other <br /> similar debris and dead vegetation to be discarded on the property, in violationof <br /> EMC 8.20.020. <br /> 2. International Residential Code 81.05.1 as adopted by the Everett Municipal <br /> Code 1.6.01 states: <br /> Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, <br /> repair, move, demolish or change the occupancy of a building or <br /> structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter,repair, remove, convert or <br /> replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or}dumbing system, the <br /> installation of which is regulated by this code, or cause any such work <br /> to be done, shall first make application to the building official and <br /> obtain the required permit. <br /> The Respondents caused alterations to the accessory structure without benefit of <br /> necessary permits including but not limited to structural electrical, mechanical and <br /> plumbing, in violation of IRC R105.1 as adopted by EMC 16.01. <br /> 3. Everett Municipal Code 19.39.020(D) (2) states; <br /> Each single family dwelling on a legal building lot shall have not more than one <br /> accessory dwelling unit. No accessory dwelling may be located in any detached <br /> accessory structure. <br /> The respondents allowed the accessory structure to be used for the purWses of a _. <br /> dwelling., in violation of EMC 19.41.070, <br /> 4. Pursuant to Chapter 1.20.020 (A) (19) of the Everett Municipal Code, the Violations <br /> Hearing :Examiner has jurisdiction over Title 19: Zoning Code violations, and these <br /> parties. <br /> 5. Ordinance No. 2916-06, Section 3(F) (10) effective June 30, 2006, provides that the <br /> Hearings Examiner may maintain continuing jurisdiction over this matter for up to <br /> two years after entry of this order. <br /> ORDER <br /> Based on the Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law read into the record at the May 20, 2010 <br /> hearing of the above matter, the following Order is issued: <br /> 4 <br />
