Paint per the project specifications. Color is black everywhere paint is called <br /> 6 out. All Grade 50W weathering steel shall receive a SP-6 sandblast. <br /> 7 2. Bottom Chord (BC): Paint top side of top plate on bottom chord between and <br /> 8 flush within the limits of the outside edge of the gusset plate at each nodal <br /> 9 point. Do not paint the open portion between adjacent gusset plates. <br /> 10 3. (BC) Gusset Plates: Paint only the inside face (facing chord) of all bottom chord <br /> 11 gusset plates. Paint both sides of the gusset plates at U16, LO, L1 and U1. <br /> 12 4. Do not paint the top chord lateral elements between UO and U4. <br /> 13 5. Paint the horizontal truss lateral elements located below the lower deck, <br /> 14 transition deck, upper deck, and utility deck including the sloped laterals <br /> 15 between MO and the floor beam at LO. <br /> 16 6. Paint all sides of the truss element MO-LO (N&S Truss). <br /> 17 7. Paint all stringers, floor beams, bracings and framing steel including angles <br /> 18 located anywhere on the plans, including, but not limited to, below the upper <br /> 19 deck, lower deck, utility deck, transition deck, stairs, roof, and elevator shaft. <br /> 20 8. Paint all steel comprising the bearings regardless of the type of steel unless it is <br /> 21 stainless steel. Do not paint stainless steel anywhere. Paint pipes beginning at flex joint near L15, paint along entire bridge length, <br /> 24 down west tower shaft to 2 feet above the concrete slab at 17.17 feet. This <br /> 25 includes all attachments, connections, and support elements associated with <br /> 26 these pipes.
