Partner with other <br />jurisdictions to develop an efficient and effective <br />regional transportation system. <br />Policy 5.1-: Coordinate planning, design and <br />financing of transportation systems with <br />other jurisdictions to identify <br />opportunities to maximize benefits with <br />limited financial resources. <br />Policy 5.2: Integrate future high capacity transit <br />systems with transportation modes <br />serving the city, including inter -city rail <br />and bus, feeder -bus and rideshare, as <br />well as pedestrian and bicycle. <br />Policy 5.3: Actively seek an equitable share of any <br />regional high capacity transit service at <br />least proportional to the City's role <br />within the Regional Growth Strategy. <br />Policy 5.4: City arterials should not be designed or <br />managed to serve primarily as <br />TRANSPORTATION ELEMENT 39 <br />
