PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 CLEARING <br /> A. All brush, trees, stumps, roots, and deleterious or undesirable material that does not meet <br /> specifications for materials shall be stripped from the pit area sufficiently in dimension to <br /> prevent subsequently mixing of unapproved materials. As excavation progresses, maximum <br /> steepness of slopes shall be 1 H:1 V, unless otherwise approved. Vertical slopes shall not be <br /> allowed. Upon completion, spread all excess material and dress the pit. As directed, leave in <br /> an acceptable condition finished with rounding slopes. <br /> 3.02 PLACING ' <br /> A.
