Participation in the cost to fund the South End Interceptor is required. <br /> The approximate cost based on the preliminary information provided is <br /> $678 + $0.213 x office sq. ft., as of October 5, 1981. The actual cost <br /> shall be computed by the Building Department per the ordinance in <br /> effect at the time and according to the information provided on the <br /> approved plans on the date of permit issuance. <br /> 10. Drainage calculations must be submitted. If the calculations, after <br /> review by the Engineering Department, indicate a need for 250 cu. ft. <br /> of storage or less, on-site detention will not be required. If more than <br /> 250 cu. ft. of storage is needed, there will be an option of making a <br /> payment to the City's drainage capital improvement fund in lieu of on- <br /> site detention. <br /> 11. All exposed ground must be reseeded within 30 days of the completion <br /> of road construction. If building activity commences within 30 days of <br /> the completion of road construction, reseeding will not be required. If <br /> reseeding is not practical due to weather or seasonal problems, the <br /> ground will be covered as directed by the City Engineer. <br /> 12. A fire hydrant must be installed within 200 feet of the proposed <br /> structure. <br /> 13. A spokesman for the Applicant testified that all emergency access from the <br /> proposed structure will be off of Evergreen Way in order to reduce any <br /> impact to the surrounding area. <br /> 14. There will be no traffic control signals by the fire station but there will be <br /> emergency control signals. <br /> 15. A letter was received and admitted as part of the record in support of the <br /> construction of the fire station at the proposed site. <br /> 16. A letter was received and admitted as part of the record in opposition to the <br /> development of the site for a fire station. The basis of the opposition was <br /> that the City would have to acquire additional right-of-way for the <br /> construction of the property, property values will lower and that the <br /> construction of the police reporting office will create a totally dangerous <br /> neighborhood. <br /> 17. A spokesman for the Applicant testified that no additional right-of-way will <br /> be needed to construct the fire station and that there will not be an increased <br /> danger to the nearby neighborhoods as a result of the fire station and police <br /> station going in. <br /> 18. Testimony was received from a spokesman for the Applicant that there would <br /> not be a jail housed on the subject site but that it would merely be used as a <br /> police reporting station. <br /> 19.
