I 1. f3uildin$facade modulation and roof line variation must be provided per Section 15.050 of <br /> the Zomng Code. <br /> 12. A fire hydrant is required within 200 driving feet, but not closcr than 50 feet, of every <br /> structure. An additional hydrant must be installed. Tha location of the hydrant must be <br /> approved by the Fire Marshal. <br /> 13. Access: The Uniform Fire Code requires that ell new BINChIfCB must provide Fire <br /> Department access roads to within 150 feet of all portions of the ground floor. Fire <br /> Department access roads (Firc Lanes) will provide a minimum of 20 feet in width of <br /> unobstructed, all season driving surf'ace with a minimum clear height of 13.5 feet. Fire <br /> Lanes will be posted end mainteined as required by the Fire Department. <br /> 14. The location of fire hydronts as shown on the preliminary sewer and water plan <br /> are acceptable for the proposed project. <br /> 15. Fire safety practices during construction must be in compliance with the Unifortn Fire <br /> Code, 1985 Edition, Article 87, "Fire Safety During Construction." <br /> 16. Fin Al�rm Syatcm: An approved automatic fire detection system must be provided as <br /> required by Chapter 16.76 of the Everett Municipal Code. <br /> Plans for such system must be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and approval prior <br /> to installation. Submittal shall include a cut sheet of all equipment intended for use. <br /> ApPropriate trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Department inspector must be perfoimed prior <br /> to final acceptance of the system. <br /> �ire alarm systems must be installed under perntit of the City of Everett Building <br /> Department. Electrical inspectors and approval are required prior to calling for <br /> acceptance tests. Call 259-8810 for pertnit information <br /> 17. For fire safety in multi-family projects with community laundry facilities, the following is <br /> required: <br /> a. A self-closing, solid core door must be installed for the laundry room. My <br /> restraining device must be activated by an approved smoke detector. <br /> b. A covered metal container must be provided for the disposal of combustible weste <br /> in the laundry room. <br /> 18. A portablc firc extinguisher with a minimum UL rating of 2-A must be provided within 75 <br /> feet travel distance on each Floor of all portions of each building during construction and <br /> priorto occupancy. <br /> 19. PREMISE IDENTIFICATION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> ACCESS ROADS AND FIRE HYDRANTS MUST BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO <br /> COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION. <br /> 20 Premise Identification: The premises must be clearly identified by the correct address at <br /> the street entry. Buildings must be clearly identifled so as to be visible and legibie from <br /> the access road.
