This task is intended for <br /> unanticipated activities that may arise during the course of the work or additional work that the City wants <br /> performed. . • <br /> Budget <br /> The estimated time and materials not-to-exceed budget for Task Order#14 is provided in Exhibit B and separate <br /> budgets for the subconsultants are presented in Appendix C. The budget in Exhibit B has been broken down into the <br /> tasks shown above. This budget will not be exceeded without the City's authorization. If during the course of the <br /> work a level of effort beyond the scope or work appears to be necessary, BHC will contact the City immediately to <br /> • <br /> discuss any necessary modifications to the scope of work and budget estimate. <br /> The budget presented in this proposal reflects an estimate based on our current understanding of the project . <br /> requirements. BHC reserves the right to transfer hours and budget dollars between tasks to satisfy project <br /> requirements. Our budget also reflects estimated direct costs to the project. BHC may also transfer funds allocated <br /> for direct costs to professional/technical hours,or vice versa,to satisfy project requirements. <br /> Assumptions <br /> • The City will provide day-to-day onsite construction management and site inspecircr therefore,BI-IC has not <br /> included costs for full-time construction observation or costs for inspection of the st uctures. <br /> • The City Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating and providing special <br /> inspections/materials testing services(both field and laboratory) needed for quality control/assurance <br /> during construction and will post copies of all test reports and results to EADOC. <br /> • The City Construction Manager will conduct an initial review of the submittals and RFI's from the <br /> contractor and will only forward those submittals and RFI's that require engineering review. The <br /> Consultant's submittal review will be for general conformance with the requirements of the contract <br /> documents. Submittal review comments and RFI responses will he documented and returned to the <br /> Construction Manager via EADOC. The Construction Manager will be responsible for <br /> forwarding/posting the final submittal and RFI documents back to the contractor. <br /> a All construction related documentation will be posted to EADOC.
