• <br /> is hereby amended to read: <br /> Family means any number of persons related by blood, <br /> marriage or legal adoption and including foster children and <br /> exchange students living together as a single housekeeping <br /> unit. Family also means the following when living together <br /> as a single, not for profit housekeeping unit: <br /> a) a group of not more than four related and unrelated <br /> adults and their related minor children , but not to <br /> exceed a total of eight related and unrelated persons; <br /> or <br /> b) not more than eight disabled persons, whether <br /> adults or minors, living together in a consentual <br /> residential living arrangement, but not to exceed a <br /> total of eight persons. <br /> For the purposes of of this definition, an adult is a person <br /> eighteen years of age or older, and a minor child is a <br /> person under the age of eighteen years old. <br /> SPntinn 2. Section 4.020.A. 77 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as <br /> amended, which presently reads: <br /> Group Home <br /> a. Group-Care Homes, Class I . State licensed foster homes <br /> for children (not including nursing homes) , homes for <br /> handicapped and physically disabled, homes for the mentally <br /> ill, and homes for those with developmental disabilities. <br /> Group-Care Homes, Class I, are sub-classified as follows: <br /> i. Group-Care Homes, Class I-A - a maximum of 6 <br /> residents and 2 resident staff; <br /> ii. Group-Care Homes, Class I-B - a maximum of 12 <br /> residents and 2 resident staff; and <br /> iii . Group-Care Homes, Class I-C - a maximum of 20 <br /> residents and 4 resident staff. <br /> b. Group-Care Homes, Class II . State-licensed group-care <br /> homes for juvenile delinquents, halfway houses providing <br /> residence in lieu of institutional sentencing, halfway <br /> houses providing residence to those needing correctional <br /> institutions, and residential rehabilitation centers for <br /> alcohol and drug abusers. Group-Care Homes, Class II are <br /> sub-classified as follows: <br />
