SECTION 22: <br /> Subsection 36 . 115 is added to Ordinance No. 1671-89 , to read: <br /> 16_ 115_ On Premise Directory and On Premise Directional Signs_ <br /> Tn use Zones where office and business complexes are permitted, <br /> on premise directory and on premise directional signs shall he <br /> allowed within a business or office complex provided: <br /> A. Tt shall he oriented to persons who are already upon <br /> the premises; and <br /> B. Tt shall not he legible from the abutting street <br /> right-of-way; and <br /> C. It shall not exceed thirty two ( 12) square feet in <br /> area; and <br /> D. It shall not exceed six (6) feet in height; and <br /> E. Tt shall not he internally illuminated unless other <br /> signs for the use of the property are permitted to <br /> he internally illuminated by the sign category for that <br /> particular use; and <br /> F. Tt shall be located a minimum of tell ( in) feet from any <br /> street right-of-way; and <br /> G. Tt shall he permitted only on lots or within complexes <br /> with more than one business or office entity; and <br /> H. A sign permit shall he required if the the sign is <br /> illuminated or if it exceeds six square feet in area. <br /> SECTION 23: <br /> Subsection 37. 160.C.5 of Ordinance No. 1671-89 , which reads: <br /> 5. Limitation nn Variances. The minimum buffers of this <br /> Section may not be varied. However, an exception to these <br /> minimum setbacks may be permitted in accordance with Subsection <br /> 37 .090.0 of this Section. <br /> is hereby amended to read: <br /> 5. Limitation on Variances. The minimum buffers of this <br /> Section may not be varied. However, an exception to these <br /> minimum setbacks may be permitted in accordance with Subsection <br /> 37 . 160 .D of this Section. <br /> SECTION 24: <br /> Section 37 . 160.D. 1 of Ordinance 1671-89 , which reads: <br /> D. Development Activity Within the Minimum Buffers. <br /> 1. Prior to issuance of permits for clearing, grading, <br /> filling, or construction, all wetlands, streams, lakes and <br /> their minimum required buffer areas shall be enclosed or <br /> otherwise protected by a barricade which will prevent <br /> encroachment into and damage to the wetland, stream, lake or <br /> buffer area. Permits for clearing, grading or filling <br /> within the minimum setbacks established by Subsection <br /> 37.090 .0 or Subsection 37 . 150 shall not be issued unless <br /> such clearing, grading, or filling is part of a development <br /> on the site which has been approved by the applicable Review <br />
