Site observations during progress of construction. <br /> f. Weekly construction meeting attendance. <br /> g. Payment request evaluation. <br /> h. Project punch-list,closeout, commissioning, and training. <br /> Fee <br /> A. Time and Expense: We propose a time-and-expense, not-to-exceed fee amount of <br /> $853,580 for architectural and engineering labor under the above Basic Services for <br /> Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. We have held aside 5% <br /> of the fee noted above for additional services to be utilized at your discretion. <br /> B. Amount and Breakdown: Architectural and Engineering fee calculation summary is <br /> attached. <br /> C. The work associated with the existing Motor Control Centers, discussed on site and <br /> outlined in the electrical section above and included the'Basic Services Fee' noted <br /> above, is estimated at$15,000. This fee will be set-aside for the MCC work or other <br /> work at your discretion and used only upon Owner authorization. <br /> D. Included in the'Basic Services Fee' noted above is'Additional Services as requested by <br /> Owner' in the amount of$40,550,to be used at the Owner's discretion,and used only <br /> upon Owner authorization. <br /> E. Reimbursable: Expenses will be invoiced at cost plus 10%administrative expense. We <br /> have allowed $4,500 for expenses(this amount includes the 10%mark-up)included in <br /> the fee noted above. <br /> Fee Basis <br /> Our fee is based on the following: <br /> A. LEED accreditation and project submittal to USGBC will not be required. <br /> B. Power studies associated with this project are limited to the new equipment and <br /> connections,from the utility service point and generators to the first protective device <br /> below the site transformers and to the removal of existing generators. The modeling of <br /> equipment and connections, and verification of settings and switching downstream of <br /> the area of work is not included. <br /> C. Upgrades and replacement of low voltage equipment downstream of the site <br /> transformers is not included, except where necessary to implement a coordinated <br /> protection system from the utility service point and generators to the first protective <br /> device below the site transformers. <br /> D. All work associated with hazardous waste or contaminated soils are excluded. <br />
