• <br /> is provided, each extinguisher shall have at least a <br /> 1 10-BC rating. Fire extinguishers shall be kept in <br /> good operating condition at all times, and they shall <br /> 2 be located in an accessible place on each tow truck; <br /> 3 i . With two (2) snatch blocks or their equivalent; <br /> 4 j . With the equipment necessary to haul the vehicles not <br /> 5 towable. Such equipment may include, but is not <br /> limited to, portable dollies; <br /> 6 k. With two (2) pinch bars; <br /> 7 1 . With a two-way radio having the ability to <br /> 8 communicate with a base station from within his <br /> assigned zone. <br /> 9 m. With portable lights for vehicle being towed <br /> 10 including, but not limited to, taillights, <br /> stoplights, and directional signals. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 3. In addition to the foregoing requirements: <br /> 13 a. The interiors of the tow trucks will be reasonably <br /> 14 clean; <br /> 15 b. Tow truck drivers will clean accident/incident scenes <br /> of all glass and debris; <br /> 16 c. All equipment used in conjunction with the tow truck <br /> 17 must be commensurate with the manufacturer's basic <br /> boom rating. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 B. In addition to the equipment requirements of this section, <br /> 20 "Class A" licensees shall observe the following practices and procedures: <br /> 21 1 . When called by the Everett Police Department or dispatcher, <br /> 22 the tow truck operator will dispatch a tow truck within <br /> five (5) minutes during normal business hours and within <br /> 23 ten (10) minutes at any other time. <br /> 24 2. The tow truck that is dispatched will arrive at the stated <br /> location within a reasonable time considering distance and <br /> 25 traffic conditions. <br /> 26 3. Tow truck dispatched, at the request of the Everett Police <br /> Department, after normal business hours, will be on the <br /> 27 move within ten (10) minutes after receiving the call . <br /> 28 a. If for any reason a tow operator is unable to <br /> dispatch a tow truck within the stated time, the <br /> 29 operator shall so advise the Police Department <br /> dispatcher. In the event the tow truck does not <br /> 30 arrive at the scene within a reasonable time, the <br /> Police Department will contact another tow business <br /> 31 to perform the necessary services. <br /> 32 <br /> 11 <br />
