ARTICLE 3. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 3.1 General Scope of Work <br /> Design-Builder's Scope of Work is generally defined in Article 1 of the Design Build Contract and in <br /> Article 2 of the General Conditions.The following further defines some of Design-Builder's <br /> responsibilities: <br /> 1. Documenting existing conditions prior to commencing construction, as set forth in Article 5, <br /> Section 5.11.1 of the Supplementary Conditions. <br /> 2. Coordinating utility location services with the City to verify pipe locations and with other utilities <br /> to verify power/telemetry locations. <br /> 3. Managing access, laydown, and construction sequencing to meet the requirements of Articles 4 <br /> and 5 of the Design-Build Contract, and to comply with City access requirements and Design- <br /> Builder access limitations as described in Article 5,Section 5.3 of these Supplementary <br /> Conditions. <br /> 4. Demolishing the existing East Clearwell roof and roofing supports, and an existing baffle curtain <br /> in the clearwell. <br /> 5. All work associated with designing, fabricating, and installing a new Acceptable Roof System that <br /> meet the Owner's Project Criteria for the East Clearwell, including additional structural supports <br /> and structural work if necessitated by Design-Builder's design and/or codes. <br /> 6. All work associated with the Ancillary Features. <br /> 7. All work associated with resealing of existing East Clearwell joints. <br /> 8. All Work associated with Allowance Items. <br /> 9. Cleaning of East Clearwell and other features in contact with potable water in compliance with <br /> applicable standards and requirements of Article 4, Section 4.7. <br /> 10. Coordinating with City staff to arrange for disinfection and refilling the East Clearwell. <br /> 11. Demolishing the existing Screen House Bridge and empty conduit off the north face of the <br /> existing screening building. Installing a new Owner-furnished pedestrian access bridge to Screen <br /> House. <br /> 12. Testing existing treated beams from the East Clearwell roof that are assumed to be treated with <br /> a wood preservative such as Ammoniacal Copper Arsenate (ACA). <br /> 13. Handling, transporting and disposing of all demolition and construction debris at appropriately <br /> permitted disposal sites. <br /> 14. All site restoration required for areas disturbed during construction and demolition. <br /> 15. Producing record drawings of the new work associated with the East Clearwell, including the <br /> Acceptable Roof System and Ancillary Facilities and Features, and the Screen House <br /> replacement bridge. <br /> 16. Providing required bonds, insurance, and warranties. <br /> ARTICLE 4.
