7
Deliverables
1. Meeting notes from workshops, PDF file via email.
2. Field investigation report (approximately 2-4 pages)for each primary discipline, PDF
files via email.
3. Summary Technical Memorandum (approximately 5-10 pages) identifying the results of
the modeling work, PDF file via email. TM will be divided into stages by flow path
identifying whether the flow path currently meets 60MGD and/or what improvements are
recommended to reach 60MGD. The identified stages will be as follows:
a) Stage 1: Recirculation channel into Oxidation Pond (flow into Oxidation Pond)
b) Stage 2: Oxidation Pond into recirculation channel (flow out of Oxidation Pond)
c) Stage 3: Recirculation Channel through culverts (Oxidation Pond to Polishing Pond)
d) Stage 4: Polishing Pond through culverts into Chlorination Channel
e) Stage 5: Chlorination Channel
f) Stage 6: FEN Pump Station
g) Stage 7: Discharge from FEN into Snohomish River
4. Single-Line Electrical diagram, PDF file via email.
5. PLC/Control System Block diagram, PDF file, via email.
Task 300 — Conceptual Chlorine Building
Objective •
HDR will meet with the City to review current chlorination processes, and develop a conceptual
building layout.
HDR Services
1. Develop a location, preliminary layout and design configuration for the new chlorine
building. The new chlorine building will be located near the existing building and will
include the following minimum features:
a) Pile support system.
b) Footprint of approximately 30 ft x 20 ft.
c) Partially below grade secondary containment/spill control.
d) Two new sodium hypochlorite storage tanks (HDPE or FRP construction)with means
for removal from the new building.
e) Hypochlorite delivery station, with spill control/containment, located on the exterior of
the facility.
f) Approximately three to four new chlorine dosing feed pumps (pump type to be
confirmed/selected by the City) to provide automatic flow pacing/dosing.
g) One transfer pump {pump type to be confirmed./selected by the City) for moving
bet':''r`eann storage tanks.
