Exhibit A <br /> Continued <br /> 5.1 Preparation of 90% Plans <br /> Otak will prepare 90%plans for the proposed dike repairs from the preliminary exhibits developed <br /> during Phase 1. Plans will be prepared to current City of Everett standards.An anticipated drawing <br /> list for the project is provided below showing the drawings that are anticipated at the 90%level. <br /> Plans will include a survey control plan,horizontal layout,vertical profile, section views, and details <br /> for the dike improvements. Plans will be prepared at a horizontal scale of 1"=20 feet and a vertical <br /> scale of 1"=5 feet. Details will be prepared at an appropriate scale to illustrate the level of detail <br /> needed for clarity. The 90% civil plans will be coordinated and submitted to the City's project team <br /> for review. Review comments will be addressed and incorporated into the 100%plans. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • 90%Plans, five (5) hard copies at 11"x17" size, and electronic file (PDF file format). <br /> 5.2 Preparation of 90% Technical Specifications <br /> Otak will prepare technical special provisions, bid schedule, and assemble the project construction <br /> manual based on City standard "double-sided printing" format, Project Manual will include sections <br /> for contract and general/special provisions,bid proposal, contract, and applicable appendices. It is <br /> assumed that the City will provide the front-end contract (Division 0) for Otak to assemble the <br /> Project Manual. Specifications will be based on the City's standards and CSI standard specifications. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • 90%Project Construction Manual, electronic file (PDF file format). <br /> 5.3 Preparation of 90% Engineer's Estimate <br /> Otak will prepare the cost estimate to indicate quantity estimates and unit construction cost data to <br /> reflect the 90%level design. Quantities will be organized into standard bid items (supplemented by <br /> additional non-standard items,if necessary) conforming to the project bid schedule. Otak will <br /> estimate quantities and develop an itemized construction cost estimate using unit costs based on <br /> experience and recent similar project bid tabs. The construction cost estimate will include <br /> appropriate contingencies to reflect the level of design complete. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • 90% Engineer's Estimate, electronic file (PDF file format). <br /> 5.4 Preparation of 100% Plans <br /> OTAK will prepare 100%level civil design plans for the proposed dike repairs. Plans will be <br /> prepared to current City of Everett standards. An anticipated drawing list for the project is provided <br /> below showing the drawings that are anticipated at the 100%level.
