Services include revised site observation and consultation support as follows: <br /> • Geotechnical engineering support for unforeseen subgrade rock and excessive groundwater <br /> encountered during construction. <br /> • Biologist support for stream-bed sediment gradation and required construction. <br /> • Additional site visits due to unforeseen construction conditions requiring consultant services. <br /> The Agreement is modified increasing the contract amount by$7,914 (plus Washington State sales tax) so <br /> that total compensation,including all services and expenses, shall not exceed$177,475.00. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement with GeoEngineers <br /> for the Lake Chaplain Road culvert replacement project in the amount not to exceed$7,914.00,plus <br /> Washington State sales tax. <br /> 57 <br />
