13. Noise <br /> a. Noise emitted from the site measured at the south boundary line <br /> of the one hundred fifty (150) foot buffer located between the <br /> residential area and the office and industrial park shall be <br /> I regulated as a Class II Source as defined in Everett Municipal <br /> Code (E.M.C.) 20.08. as amended. <br /> i. The maximum permissible noise level at the south boundary ! <br /> of the buffer adjacent to the area designated for <br /> residential uses is 57 dB(A). <br /> ii. The maximum permissible noise level established in <br /> condition 13.a.i. above shall be modified, reduced, or <br /> increased as follows: <br /> (1). Between the hours of ten p.m. and seven a.m. during <br /> weekdays, and between the hours of ten p.m. and <br /> nine a.m. on weekends, the level established in <br /> condition 13.a.i. above is reduced by ten dB(A). <br /> (2). At any hour of the day or night, for any source of <br /> sound which is of short duration, the level, <br /> established by this condition are increased by: <br /> i <br /> five dB(A) for a total of fifteen minutes in any . <br /> one-hour period; or ten dB(A) for a total of five ', <br /> minutes in any on-hour period; or fifteen dB(A) <br /> for a total of 1.5 minutes in any one-hour period. <br /> b. Mechanical systems shall be shielded to prevent noise levels1 <br /> exceeding those prescribed by the City's Noise Ordinance EMC <br /> 20.08. <br /> 14. Air Pollution <br /> No activity or use on the office and industrial park shall cause or <br /> permit the emission of an air contaminant in sufficient quantity and , <br /> of such characteristics and duration as is or is likely to bei <br /> injurious to human health, plant or animal life, or property or which ! <br /> unreasonably interferes with the enjoyment of life and property. j <br /> 15. Vibrations <br /> Vibration from any machine, operation or process in the office and <br /> industrial park shall not exceed 0.003 of one inch displacement <br /> applied to the frequency range of zero to five thousand cycles per <br /> second, as measured off the lot on which such machine, operation or <br /> process is located. <br /> 16. Radiation <br /> Ionizing radiation is defined and regulated by the State of <br /> Washington pursuant to R.C.W. 70.98. Development on this property <br /> shall comply with the applicable State regulations. <br /> 1 <br /> 1 17.
