1 A. At any time his/her State of Washington Motor Vehicle Operator's <br /> License is suspended or revoked; <br /> 2 <br /> B. It is discovered after license issuance that he/she has an infirmity of <br /> 3 the body or mind which renders him/her unfit for the safe operation of <br /> a for-hire vehicle; <br /> 4 <br /> C. He/she uses or is found to be in possession of controlled substances or <br /> 5 alcohol while in or while operating any for-hire vehicle; <br /> 6 D. Charges a passenger a rate or fare other than that provided for herein; <br /> 7 E. At any time he fails to meet the qualifications for a limousine driver; <br /> 8 F. Made any false statement in his/her application or made any omissions; <br /> 9 G. Drove a limousine for-hire without a valid limousine driver's license; <br /> 10 H. Failed, while operating or in control of a limousine for-hire, to <br /> display identification or a sign, plaque, or card with the information <br /> 11 and in the manner and form required herein; <br /> 12 I. Exhibits conduct in driving or operating a limousine which would lead <br /> the City Clerk to reasonably conclude that the applicant will not <br /> 13 comply with the provisions of the ordinance related to driver/operator <br /> conduct or the safe operation of the vehicle; <br /> 14 <br /> J. Violates any of the provisions of this ordinance; or <br /> 15 <br /> K. Fails to promptly deliver to the City's Police Department, within <br /> 16 twenty-four hours, all property of value left unattended by any <br /> 17 passenger in any limousine. <br /> 18 Section 18: LIMOUSINE DRIVER'S CONDITION <br /> 19 A. It is unlawful for any limousine driver to consume any alcoholic <br /> 20 beverage twenty-four (24) hours prior to reporting for duty, or while <br /> on duty as a driver or to operate any limousine while under the <br /> 21 influence of or affected by intoxicating liquors, narcotics, <br /> barbiturates or any medicine that shall impair his/her ability to drive. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Section 19: VEHICLE EQUIPMENT, MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION <br /> 24 A. All for-hire vehicles may be inspected from time to time as determined <br /> by the Chief of Police in response to complaints received or <br /> 25 observations that such is desirable, for the purpose of determining <br /> proper equipment and safe, healthy, and sanitary conditions for the <br /> 26 transportation of passengers, providing that inspections shall be <br /> conducted at least annually. The Chief of Police may promulgate rules <br /> 27 and regulations which set forth standards of safety, health, and <br /> sanitation required for limousines and the scope of limousine <br /> 28 inspections, including but not limited to standards regarding <br /> cleanliness, brakes, lights, tires, glass, seat belts, and any special <br /> 29 equipment that may be required. <br /> 30 B. Each limousine shall be equipped and maintained at all times by the <br /> owner or operator for safety, cleanliness and lawful operation in <br /> 31 accordance with the laws of the City and the State and shall be <br /> furnished with such equipment as the Chief of Police shall deem <br /> 32 <br /> 10 <br />
