• <br /> 1 set of photographs shall become a part of the applicant' s license, if <br /> 2 issued, and one set shall be filed with the Clerk' s Office. All licensed <br /> 3 limousine drivers must be re-fingerprinted every two years. New pictures <br /> 4 shall be required yearly. <br /> 5 Section 15: DRIVER'S LICENSE - APPLICATION INVESTIGATION - ISSUANCE OR <br /> NON-ISSUANCE <br /> 6 <br /> A. The Chief of Police shall review the application for a limousine <br /> 7 driver's license and determine whether the applicant meets the <br /> requirements of this ordinance. If the Chief of Police determines that <br /> 8 the limousine driver's license should be issued or renewed, a license <br /> will thereupon be issued to the applicant which shall be in such form <br /> 9 as to contain the photograph and signature of the licensee. Limousine <br /> driver' s licenses shall expire on July 31st of each year. If the Chief <br /> 10 of Police determines that a limousine driver's license should not be <br /> issued or renewed, the City Clerk thereof shall be notified setting <br /> 11 forth the reasons for such rejection. <br /> 12 B. A license will be denied to any person if the City Clerk finds that the <br /> applicant has: <br /> 13 <br /> 1 . Made any false statement in his/her application; <br /> 14 <br /> 2. Had a conviction or bail forfeiture in accordance with those <br /> 15 identified in Section 13(A) (5) of this ordinance. <br /> 16 3. Been found to have exhibited past conduct in driving or operating <br /> a limousine for-hire which would lead the Chief of Police to <br /> 17 reasonably conclude that the applicant will not comply with the <br /> provisions of the ordinance related to driver/operator conduct or <br /> 18 the safe operation of the vehicle; <br /> 19 4. Been found to have exhibited a past driving record which would <br /> lead the Chief of Police to reasonably conclude that the <br /> 20 applicant would not operate the for-hire vehicle in a safe <br /> manner; or <br /> 21 <br /> 5. Failed to meet any of the qualifications listed in Section 13 of <br /> 22 this ordinance. <br /> 23 C. Any applicant whose limousine driver' s license is rejected may appeal <br /> by filing written notice with the Parking Hearing Examiner within ten <br /> 24 working days from the date the notice of rejection is sent by the <br /> City. The Parking Hearing Examiner may exercise its discretion in <br /> 25 granting or renewing such license. <br /> 26 <br /> Section 16: DRIVER'S LICENSE - DISPLAY <br /> 27 <br /> Such license shall be displayed in a conspicuous place inside the <br /> 28 <br /> limousine as directed by the City. <br /> 29 <br /> Section 17: SUPENSION - REVOCATION OF LIMOUSINE DRIVER'S LICENSES <br /> 30 <br /> Any driver of a limousine for-hire vehicle will have his/her limousine <br /> 31 <br /> driver's license suspended or revoked if: <br /> 32 <br /> 9 <br />
