• 1 Such insurance as required herein shall be maintained in full force and 2 effect for the full period to be covered by the license applied for, and 3 failure to do so shall result in automatic suspension. 4 Applicant shall submit a Certificate of Insurance to the City at the 5 time of license application indicating compliance with the insurance 6 requirements set forth herein and naming the City of Everett as an 7 additional insured on the insurance coverage. 8 Section 11 : FAILURE TO PAY JUDGMENT 9 Failure to pay any judgment arising out of the limousine business 10 within thirty (30) days after the judgment becomes final or to make any 11 payment pursuant to such judgment shall result in denial , suspension, or 12 revocation of a for-hire license. No limousine license shall be renewed if 13 payments on an outstanding final judgment are delinquent. 14 Section 12: LIMOUSINE DRIVER'S LICENSE - REQUIRED 15 16 A. It is unlawful for any person engaged in the business of operating limousines to employ as the driver of any such vehicle, or permit any 17 such vehicle to be operated by a driver who does not have in his/her possession a valid limousine driver's license. 18 B. It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a limousine for-hire 19 in the City of Everett unless there is a valid limousine business license issued by the City covering said vehicle. 20 C. It is unlawful for any person to drive or operate a limousine for-hire 21 in the City of Everett without first having obtained a valid license to do so, which license shall be known as a limousine driver's license. 22 The license shall be obtained in the following manner: the applicant shall file an application on a form furnished by the City Clerk which 23 shall be signed and sworn to by the applicant and shall contain: the applicant's full name, place of residence at the time of application 24 and for a period of two years prior thereto, age, race, height, color of eyes and hair, place of birth, whether a citizen or noncitizen, 25 last place of employment, whether she/he has been convicted of a felony, misdemeanor or bail forfeiture related to the ability and 26 fitness of the applicant to engage in the operation of a limousine, whether she/he has been previously licensed as a driver or chauffeur 27 and if so, when and where, whether such license has ever been suspended or revoked and for what cause and such other information the City Clerk 28 may require which she/he deems reasonably necessary to aid in the enforcement of this ordinance. Said application shall be filed with 29 the City as a permanent record and shall contain the names of four persons, not relatives, who have known the applicant for at least two 30 years past. 31 Section 13: DRIVER'S LICENSE - QUALIFICATIONS 32 A. A limousine driver's license will be denied unless the applicant possesses the following qualifications: 7
