1 vehicle as a for-hire vehicle in the City without having first obtained the <br /> 2 licenses required pursuant to the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> 3 The provisions of this ordinance shall not apply to motor vehicles <br /> 4 operated by any municipal or privately owned, licensed non-profit transit <br /> 5 system. <br /> 6 Section 4: LICENSE TERM - EXPIRATION OF LICENSES AND LICENSE FEES - <br /> LIMITATION <br /> 8 All licenses issued under this ordinance shall expire on July 31st of <br /> 9 each year. Such licenses may be renewed by the license holder for the <br /> 10 succeeding year by making application therefor with the City Clerk at least <br /> 11 ten days prior to the expiration date. <br /> 12 The City Clerk may by order limit the number of licenses issued under <br /> 13 this ordinance when the City Clerk determines it is necessary in order to <br /> 14 protect the general health, safety and welfare. <br /> 15 Section 5: LICENSE - APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> 16 In addition to the information required to be provided pursuant to the <br /> 17 general requirements for all licenses, applicants for for-hire vehicle <br /> 18 business licenses shall furnish the following information on forms to be <br /> 19 furnished by the City: <br /> 20 A. The financial status of the applicant, including the amounts of all <br /> 21 unpaid judgments and the nature of the transaction or acts giving rise <br /> to said judgments; <br /> 22 B. The experience of the applicant in the transportation of passengers; <br /> 23 C. The number of vehicles to be operated or controlled by the applicant; <br /> 24 D. For each for hire vehicle, the company vehicle number therefor, the <br /> 25 make, model and identifying color scheme, monogram or insignia, and <br /> serial number of the vehicle; <br /> 26 E. True and accurate information concerning the ownership of the <br /> 27 vehicle(s) to be licensed; <br /> 28 F. Proof of a valid Washington State for-hire certificate; <br /> 29 G. If the applicant is a corporation, it shall accompany the application <br /> with a list of the names and addresses of all officers, directors and <br /> 30 stockholders; <br /> 31 H.
