Variance means a modification of the regulations of this <br /> ordinance when authorized by the Board after finding that <br /> the literal application of the provisions of this <br /> ordinace would cause undue and unnecessary hardship in <br /> view of certain facts and conditions applying to a <br /> specific parcel of property. <br /> 49. Yard means an unoccupied space open to the sky, on the <br /> same lot with a building or structure. <br /> 50. Yard, front means an open space extending across the full <br /> width of the lot, the required depth of which shall be <br /> measured horizontally from the front lot line to a line <br /> parallel thereto on the lot. <br /> 51.
